Your wi-fi speed is calculated in a weighted average formula that favours more recent tests and irons out major discrepancies that can occur in normal internet operations. The published speed is updated each 24 hours. If you have just listed or just done your first test then your Stay Page will show the speed tomorrow. You can see the results of your latest test on your Stay Dashboard.

How is Your Wi-Fi Speed determined? We use an independent company, SpeedSmart, to assess wi-fi speeds that are achieved by end-users. While your theoretical or contracted speed may be listed as a fast speed the real-life speed may be different due to the numbers of people using it at the same time as well as the number of other clients your internet telco has on its lines (aka backhaul). Can I charge extra for internet? No. All mandatory costs must be included in your prices. Internet is considered one of the minimum requirements of digital nomads so is not optional. Where you have optional items for sale with an extra charge you could list these in your description so guests know what to expect.
