'Full Payment' System

'Full Payment' Systen

Starting in 2024 Nomad Stays is making a new 'Full Payment' system available to selected Stays.

The 'Full Payment' system is where the guest pays Nomad Stays for 100% of their booking at the time of the booking.  This differs from the standard system where we collect a Deposit only and the guest pays you the balance upon checkin.

Under 'Full Payment'Nomad Stays transfers the agreed rate to your business at, or shortly after, the guest checks in.

 

Full Payment Rollout - Phase 1 - Experiences

Full Payment was initially rolled out to Experience operators in 2023 to ensure they could more easily meet certain laws like the EU Package Travel Directive.

Full Payment is mandatory for listing Experiences.

 

Full Payment Rollout - Phase 2 - Stays with 7 or more rooms

Starting in 2024 Full Payment is now being made available to selected larger Stays.

Choice of Full Payment is optional for Stays.

 

Full Payment Rollout - Phase 3 - Small Stays

In 2025 or later, smaller Stays (those with 6 rooms or less) may be offered the ability to choose Full Payment.

 

Key Requirements for Full Payment

The choice to offer Full Payment option is reserved by Nomad Stays.

If you are invited to switch to Full Payment you will need to ensure you meet our Full Payment Criteria including:

  1. You are listed in one of our authorised countries as can be seen at https://help.nomadstays.com/340614-Countries-We-Accept-Stay-Listings-In
  2. Your Bank Account is in one of our approved banking currencies as can be seen at https://help.nomadstays.com/340614-Countries-We-Accept-Stay-Listings-In
  3. Your Bank Account is in exactly the same name as your Operator, and you have provided us with a copy of a recent Bank Statement for that account
    1. Your should send us a copy of that Bank Statement using our secure messaging options
