Activating your eSIM is usually an automatic process after you’ve installed your eSIM. Here is the general flow:
- Connection: Once you arrive in the destination country, turn your eSIM “ON” in your device settings.
- use the “SIM Manager” on your device to select the new SIM
- Activation automatically begins as soon as your phone finds a compatible network in the eSIM country/countries

SIM Selection: Most devices only have 1 or 2 radios in which can connect with networks, while your device may stored dozens of SIMs at a time. Select and activate the new SIM.
- Network Registration: The eSIM will automatically search for a local supported network. This can take up to 5 minutes.
- Data Roaming: Ensure Data Roaming is enabled for the eSIM profile to start using data.
