Connecting takes about a minute and works the same way as connecting any other app to ChatGPT or Claude for example — you don’t need any technical knowledge, and you don’t need to copy or paste any codes.
Any member can connect their own AI assistant; the steps below are the same for every member type.
Step 1 — Make sure two-factor authentication is turned on
Before you can connect an AI assistant, your Nomad Stays account needs two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled. This protects your listing in case your AI assistant’s connection is ever compromised. If you haven’t already set this up, go to your Profile page and click Set Up 2FA — you’ll also be prompted automatically if it’s missing when you try to connect.
Step 2 — Add Nomad Stays as a connector in your AI tool
Open your AI assistant and look for its “Connectors,” “Apps,” or “Custom MCP Server” settings — the exact wording depends on the tool:
- ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors → Add a custom connector
- Claude.ai (web): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
- Claude Desktop: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
When asked for a server address, enter:

Your AI tool will open a Nomad Stays login/consent screen in your browser. Log in with your usual Nomad Stays account, and click Allow when asked to approve the connection. That’s it — your AI assistant is now connected.
Be aware that YOU are giving permission to Nomad Stays to permit YOUR AI tool to make changes on your behalf.
Step 4 — Try it out
Start a new conversation with your AI assistant and ask something like:
“List my Stays” or “Show me the current price packages on my Stay”
If it responds with your real details, the connection is working.
Disconnecting or checking your connection
You can see every AI tool currently connected to your account, and disconnect any of them at any time, from the Operator Information section of your Stay profile page, or your personal Member Profile page, under Connected AI agents. Disconnecting takes effect immediately.
