Whether you’re applying yourself through the website or asking your AI assistant to apply on your behalf (see How to Connect an AI Assistant to Nomad Stays), it helps to have the right information ready before you start. This article lists exactly what’s needed for each type of application: Stay, Experience, and Coworking Space.

- Questions your AI assistant should ask you
1. Stay Application
You’ll need:
- Your full name, email address, and mobile number
- Your business/billing details: business name, street address, city, state/region, postal code, and billing country
- Your Stay’s name
- The country your Stay is located in
- Your business model (how bookings are handled — see Business model restrictions below)
- Your monthly price (the wholesale price you expect to receive — not the price guests see)
- Number of rooms
- Your website (if you have one)
- How your availability is kept up to date (e.g. an iCal feed or availability supplier)
- Your internet download speed
Only required in some countries:
- VAT/tax number — required if your billing country mandates one
- Tourism/lodging registration number — required if your Stay’s country mandates one
Business model restrictions: some countries only allow direct-booking business models (“StayDirect”-type) rather than the full range of booking models — your AI assistant should check the country’s rules before assuming any business model is available.
Application fee: a one-time Stay Application fee applies (waived automatically if you already have an active listed Stay, or an existing Stay Partner/Advertiser account).
2. Experience Application
Experience applications need everything a Stay application needs, plus a few Experience-specific details:
You’ll need (in addition to the applicant/business details above):
- Your Experience’s name
- The country your Experience takes place in
- Your business model
- Your monthly price
- Number of days — Experiences must run a minimum of 4 days
- Maximum number of participants
- How your availability is kept up to date
- Your internet download speed
- Whether you have insurance
- Whether you have kitchen facilities
- Laundry facilities (none / on premises / nearby)
- Work facilities available (none / in room / co-working space / both)
Only required in some countries: VAT/tax number and tourism/lodging registration number, following the same country-based rules as Stay applications.
Optional: number of overnight locations (for multi-location Experiences), a description, and your website.
Application fee: a one-time Experience Application fee applies, using the same waiver rules as the Stay Application fee (waived if you already have an active listed Stay or existing Stay Partner/Advertiser account).
3. Coworking Space Application
Coworking applications are the simplest of the three — there’s no business model, VAT, or tourism-number logic involved, and no application fee.
You’ll need:
- Your Coworking Space’s name
- Your name and email address
- The city and country your space is located in
Optional: street address, telephone number, and website.
Application fee: none. (There is a separate, optional Premium Membership upgrade available later, but it’s unrelated to submitting the application itself.)
4. Questions your AI assistant should ask you
If you’re starting an application through your AI assistant, expect it to ask you for the information above before it can submit. A well-prepared assistant will typically:
- Ask which country your listing is in before telling you whether a VAT number or tourism number is required — these rules vary by country and shouldn’t be assumed either way
- Confirm your business model choice against what’s actually permitted in your country, rather than offering every option
- For Experiences, confirm your planned length is at least 4 days before going further
- Ask for your business/billing address separately from your listing’s own location — these can be different countries with different rules
- Let you know up front whether an application fee applies, and whether it’s likely to be waived based on your existing account
You don’t need to have every answer ready in one go — you can start an application with partial information and come back to complete it later, whether you’re filling it in yourself or asking your AI assistant to pick up where you left off.
