Nomad Stays only shows Stays that can be booked. If a Stay isn’t bookable, a lot of its listing information is hidden from digital nomads, so they don’t waste time trying to book a Stay that has nothing to sell.
If your Stay should be visible and it isn’t, check these three things.
1. Availability
Without a current price and availability within our guidelines (45 days minimum bookable nights in the next 6 months) your listing will not be shown. Check that you haven’t blocked a wide range of dates by mistake and that your availability is up to date. If you use a master calendar, give us your iCal URL and we will pull your availability automatically.
2. Packages
Check that your Packages are set against a room that has availability, and that they have a price for the near future, not only a long way down the track.
3. Credit in your Member Wallet (StayDirect™ Stays)
StayDirect™ charges a 1% referral fee on the retail value of the offer a nomad clicks. To keep a StayDirect™ page visible you need enough credit in your Member Wallet at all times. If your wallet gets too low, your advertising page disappears from the site and from our AI agent systems.
The minimum is enough credit to cover the referral fee for your largest (most expensive) offer. For example, if your largest package is $6,450, the referral fee is $64.50, so a wallet of $50 is below the minimum and the Stay stays hidden until it is topped up.
We suggest you aim to have enough credit for 5 referrals. For a package that costs $1,500 the referral fee is $15, so 5 referrals is $75 of credit.
How to top up your wallet
- Log in to your account via www.nomadstays.com/Your-Stays.
- Go to your dashboard by clicking the button with your name at the top right of the site.
- Click Wallet in the menu on the left.
- In the Top Up your Wallet area, choose one of the preset amounts.
- Enter your card details and make the payment.
Your wallet is kept in USD and all charges are converted to USD before being applied to your wallet.
Once your top-up has been processed your Stay becomes visible again automatically. A top-up can take a short while to appear while the payment clears.
